I'm not in any way against anyone buying a motorcycle or smart car, but keep in mind that the trade off for extra gas mileage is to sacrifice safety. If you get hit by a truck, you probably wont care about how much gas you saved.

People get killed in cars everyday, too.

Maybe some day the American public will be more like Europeans in that they ride scooters every day rain or shine. If Americans did this fuel prices would come down due to buying 1/10 of the fuel we do now. While in Italy I saw a beautiful young woman come out of her apartment in the rain dressed in a rain slicker and helmet. She cranked her scooter(one that averages over one hundred mile per gallon) and ride off to her work place. The USA should realize that we cannot continue to drive sub fifteen mile per gallon vehicles.

I drive a 30 + mpg vehicle and still can,t afford obamaline and inflation has out paced the middle class americans income and shoved us deeper in debt and poverty and Obamie don,t give a poop , he has plenty of money and servants and waiters and toys and his wife can take multilillion dollar trips at our expense - - go after the oil companies and you will curb economy problems and gas prices they need to pay thru the nose for what they are doing to this country , every price you see going up is tied one way or another to gasoline or diesel prices , the blind can,t seem to see this and keep worshipping Obama - - almost bet he has a 666 tattoo somewhere

Great post tbone. *sarcasm intended*

LOL! Same was said about Ronald Wilson Reagan. Six letters in his first, middle and last names. Wooooooooo. Spooky.
