Patrick Newcomb of Benton, Ky., chips onto the 10th green during the Aflac Scramble at the Burningtree Country Club on Tuesday afternoon. Newcomb, who plays for Murray State University, will play a practice round Wednesday before teeing off at 1:10 p.m. Thursday. The 72-hole Spirit of America event ends Sunday afternoon. Spectator admission is free.
