What's your favorite strip club, THE?

Agents had been investigating the couple for several weeks, Franklin said.[Sic]

Were these Morgan county agents or city or some other agency it just seems that she has been the one making the bust but who is doing the work. Not that I would care as long as these people are caught it's just I think other people are giving her info from the city side.

Please read the article again, Casinokid. It says the arrests were made at a Hartselle area residence (outside city limits), not at a Hartselle residence (inside Hartselle city limits). Addresses are based on the name of the delivering post office, not necessarily on political boundaries. Otherwise the address of anyone in Morgan County not living inside an incorporated city would be "Morgan County, AL" regardless of the zip code and delivering post office. I know people who live in Lawrence County who receive their mail through the Trinity post office located inside the Trinity city limits in Morgan County and their address is "Trinity, AL", but they are in the Lawrence County Sheriffs Department jurisdiction.

Even if Franklin is getting information from other agencies would it be wise to reveal her sources? Criminal investigation is much more effective if the criminals you are investigating, as well as those you may need to investigate in the future, are unaware of how you found out about their criminal activity. In the past many have complained about separate agencies not cooperating. Now it seems we are complaining that they are.
