Athens police seek missing woman

ATHENS — Athens police are looking for a missing woman who walked away from a group home.

Capt. Marty Bruce said Thursday that Santori Renne James, 19, of Athens has been missing since March 24.

He said James is mentally challenged and in the cus-tody of Alabama Depart-ment of Human Resources. She was living in a group home and attended Athens High School.

James is 5-foot-9 and weighs 185 pounds. She has family in the Birmingham area.
