Auburn has landed at least three highly regarded last-minute recruits.
Five-star defensive tackle Montravius Adams, 6-foot-3, 290-pounds, announced his choice this morning on ESPNU.
Meanwhile, defensive end Elijah Daniel and offensive lineman Deon Mix both switched commitments to sign with Auburn.
Adams was a standout at Dooly County High in Middle Georgia. He is ranked the No. 3 defensive tackle nationally by Rivals.com. He visited Auburn this past weekend and was recruited by assistant coach Rodney Garner. He also visited Georgia, Alabama, Clemson and Florida in January.
Adams was one of two five-star defensive lineman to sign with Auburn today, joining Carl Lawson. He is rated the nation’s No. 2 defensive tackle and No. 10 overall prospect by 247Sports.com.
Mix, 6-foot-4 and 315 pounds of South Panola High in Batesville, Miss., switched from Mississippi State on Tuesday night, according to Auburn.247Sports.com. Mix signed today, the first day high school seniors can sign football scholarship papers.
Daniel, a 6-4, 250-pound defensive end from Avon (Ind.) High, spurned Ole Miss to become the first official high school signee of the 2013 Auburn class.
Daniel was an Under Armour All-American. He recorded 85 tackles, 16 tackles for loss and five sacks for Avon last season.
