Austin's 7-game unbeaten start to season ends
|
FLORENCE — Kendrick Doss ran for three touchdowns, two of them on fourth down, to lead Florence to a 25-10 upset of Austin tonight.
Doss had two 11-yard scoring runs and a 51-yarder.
Ronnie Vaughn scored Florence's first touchdown on a 3-yard run.
The loss ended Austin's perfect 7-0 start to the season. The Black Bears dropped to 5-1 in Class 6A, Region 8. Florence improved to 5-3, 5-1.
