Austin High running back Josh Walker has been selected to play in the annual Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Football Game.
Walker, a 5-foot-11 senior, is averaging more than 130 yards per game for Class 6A No. 4 Austin. New Hope’s Jonathan Ford, Enterprise’s Clark Quisenberry and Foley’s Cedrix Reed are the other running backs on the roster, according to a release from the Alabama High School Athletic Association.
The Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Football Game will be held Dec. 15 at Montgomery’s Cramton Bowl.
Walker is rated a two-star prospect by Rivals.com. He has an offer from Troy, but currently is uncommitted.
