I think the sheriff could be dressed a little more appropriate for the position. I'm sorry blue jeans just don't make the cut unless she is in the woods working.
Ana is making drug bust on a daily basis and you want to say something about her wearing JEANS? Are you kidding me? I guess you feel since she is a woman she should be wearing a dress huh? Unreal!
As long as she is doing her job leave her alone, you have had other sheriffs who dressed up fancy and did very little!
Tom that was a stupid comment. With what was going on I'd say she was dressed appropriate.
All the male officers are wearing uniforms, Jimmy. It is a sign of respect for the office and for the public served. She is making many drug busts, and will no doubt continue to have that opportunity unless drugs are legalized, because as long as there is money to be made people will ruin their lives in the trade. I hope she's making some progress on the thefts that seem to be prevalent here and elsewhere.
She is dressed for work. If you look around you will see many other sheriffs who wear plain street clothes including blue jeans. At least she has on a top that identifies her as sheriff. If this was anyone else you wouldn't be making such a stupid comment Tom. While I was not a fan of Ana's to start with, the job she is doing is changing my perception and I will most likely vote for her at the next election unless something changes between now and that time.
Offiers in suits will probably not do a lot of cross country searching.
Where are the nuts complaining that law enforcement are exploiting dogs by placing them in a potentially dangerous situation of searching for a dangerous "alledged" criminal.
Maybe we should ban the use of dogs on such missions and develope humans with extra smelling abilities as trackers.
Ideas?
I think she is getting things done. Jeans are fine with me. Besides, we have no idea what she was doing prior to making this call.
They ain't shooting dogs are they???? I don't see her daughter, is she still working there??
Bubba ain't concerned with clothes but questions operational methods
25 years from today the bank robbery will be remembered, but our Sheriff wearing jeans won't be.Where would we be with out malcontents ?
So our first concern out of the box is what someone wears? Seriously? If you wanna be the "Fashion Police" move to New York or LA.
A uniform doesn't make the officer. If worrying about bluejeans and fashion sense is all some folks have to complain about, they obviously have no life whatsoever. Give me a freakin' break! Recently had 2 break-ins in my subdivision. Uniformed Decatur PD responded, took reports ,and left. No other investigation was done on-site because and I quote, "we don't see any fingerprints". Well, unless they dipped their fingers in something to leave prints, no naked eye is going to detect them. No effort. They stated it was probably "just kids". So that makes it all OK.
She is just doing her job, not setting in line at the cleaners spending tax dollars because she is trying to impress someone.
Sheriff Franklin is doing a great job. If she is at a formal function, she dresses appropriate to the occasion. If she is taking down a meth house or tracking a robbery suspect, she dresses where she can work. At least she is not behind the air-conditioned desk all day figuring out how she can get a few more tax dollars into her pocket from the meal fund at the jail.
Good job Sheriff, as far as the jeans I don't understand the issue there. Sounds like someone you kicked out of office, I mean beat in the election or someone you may have fired for good reason.
I wouldn't mind seeing here in handcuffs..... Fur lined and a lavender teddy. hmmmmm just saying lol
Please remember that Tom is from Hartselle which has been out of the main stream of life since the 1800's.
Thanks
