Bruce Christopher and Myra Bazzel of Somerville, Ala. are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Maegan Ruth Bazzel, to Joshua Andrew Adams, son of Dona Holcombe Smith of Lacey's Spring, Ala. and Dewayne Adams of Union Hill, Ala.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Sue Bazzel of Decatur and the late Bruce M. Bazzel and Ray and Mary Lou Sanders of Brundidge, Ala. Maegan is currently employed at Simpson's Florist in Decatur, and will be furthering a degree in Fashion Design in Texas.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Donald Wayne Holcombe of Holly Pond, Ala., Nancy Sue Cartier of Morgan City, Ala., the late Andrew Adams of Geneva, Ala., and Ruth Quick of Springville, Ala. Joshua is a member of the United States Army and is now stationed in Texas.

Vows will be exchanged March 30, 2013 in a 3:30 afternoon ceremony to be held at the Huntsville Botanical Gardens.
