Lindsey Jennings poured in 20 points and grabbed five rebounds, leading Bob Jones High past Huntsville 40-35 Saturday night for the Decatur Orthopaedic Clinic Classic championship.
This was Bob Jones’ third Classic title, and first since 2010.
Bob Jones (19-1) overcame a slow start. The Patriots trailed 19-12 at halftime, but outscored Huntsville 10-0 in the third period.
Nadia Stewart finished with seven points for Bob Jones. Ta’Naisha Hill led Huntsville with 16 points.
