This is great news. Charter has basically had a monopoly on cable and internet in most of the city for years and the lack of competition has resulted in terrible service and poor customer service.
Anything but charter
I am so excited about this!!! Maybe if nothing else it will make Charter start operating better. There service sucks and their cable sucks. I pay so much and if I want it to work I have to call every other day to have someone fix it.
Charter sucks. I would get a dish before I went back to Charter.
Unless WOW inproves there ability to reach them after hours regarding issues it will be the same ole same ole....
WELL it would be nice someone would put some cable in our area, we live basically at Neel with a Hartselle address the corner of Danville Rd and Maddox and we have NOTHING. And NOTHING is avaliable to us. You would think that we live in the boonies or the dark ages, we are 9 miles from Decatur. Actually half of our road is Hartselle address and the other half is Danville address and the Danville addresses have cable I'm told. Someone please help the few of us that would like to get rid of our dishes.
I will be glad to try the new service. Charter is too high for the service you receive. I got talked into the "Bundle" deal and my phone has been dead 3 of the last 8 days. Their answer "service problems in that area" is not good customer service and I had an AT&T phone for 40 years and never had a dead phone!!!
amen ron! my daughter has to pay out the ying yang for a minamal amount of internet service from her cell phone provider and has a danville address off 157.I would love to see my grandchildren able to do their home work AND play a computer game online instead of being limited to a certain amount of time each. charter needs to get off the dime and provide services where needed or we all need to go dish or direct.
We've always had decent service with Charter (no frequent or lengthy outages), but the price is ridiculous.
