Coffey wins Courtland runoff
COURTLAND — Jeffery Coffey defeated incumbent Laura Terry in the Courtland City Council District 2 runoff Tuesday.
Coffey had 33 votes over Terry’s 28. In the Aug. 28 municipal election, Coffey had 28 votes while Terry had 26.
There are 100 registered voters in District 2.
The term length is four years. The salary is $200 per council meeting.
