There goes the liberal Daily again. Supporting things like socialist schools.

Decatur is growing, just the wrong way. Too many illegal families moving in and not paying their share for their 4-5 kids in the classroom. When this happens, people who have a little money is going to move away to other towns like Priceville or Hartselle.

Don't put so much money into the buildings and more into the education of our students. Yes, something does need to be done about the real estate in these school districts that have failing students. It is terrible to invest in a home and then have to sell it for less than you owe. If you follow the Real Estate in Decatur - if a home is in the Brookhaven, West Decatur and Austinville school district - the agent will usually say they don't know what school district the home is in. If, it is in the Julian Harris and Cedar Ridge district - they are quick to point that out. It is not because the schools are newer, it is because they have a higher standard and students are learning.

I thought we got rid of all the illegals with the immigration bill. Did someone lie to us about that too?

Wonder if the property values around Harvard University have gone down because some of the buildings are over 300 years old?

Ed's dream of one city high school must be kicking off with the Daily as official Balloon Floater & Propaganda Facilitator. Wonder how Dwight "Our old rundown school buildings are fine" Jett will 'evolve'?
