Sorry Daily your guy didn't win. Maybe he can show his elders some respect one day and get more of their votes and not crack on current office holders no matter how bad they are. He lost many votes when he thanked the mayor for the last two years as Wally Terry and not Stanford at he D.U. forum. He showed his immaturity there and lost many votes for that one remark. Oh well, good run junior, now you'll have more time to spend building your practice. Good luck.

One thing is clear. Cole has more class in his little finger than Rebecca has in her whole body. I just saw his interview on 48. He was gracious and kind and positive. You could take a lesson Rebecca.

Cowards like Rebecca and Charles and Kenneth who ran down don Stanford, a good man and now cole are disgraceful. You yourselves don't put yourself out there. All you do is snipe. You are what's wrong with Decatur. These people that you bash accomplish more than you ever will and no matter what you cowardly type on the computer will change that.

Good for Cole. When he bashed Don Stanford at the D. U. Forum, he lost all respect from me. Yeah, I guess that is your kind of class Bill. Good day, sir.

Don Kyle bashed Don Stanford in public and private for 4 years. How did you feel about him? Becky, you're a coward and a hypocrite. You know what you can do to yourself. Lord knows no one else would want to do it to your obese self.

Haha! You're scary and use the wrong punctuation. A question with a period at the end? Haha.

No. There was only one question. It has a question mark. The other was a statement of fact that you do in fact know what you can do to yourself. But typical of this group, facts don't matter. You know Kyle bashed mayor Stanford for years. You are a hypocrite that chooses when to apply your indignation. Mayor Stanford got more accomplished than Don Kyle ever did. Kyle's election will set back everything Mayor Stanford accomplished. Young professionals won't be attracted by anything Kyle does. That may be the plan though. The rednecks that supported Kyle don't want progress.

I voted for Stanford in the general. Then I voted for Kyle in the runoff. Young Junior was scaring me with his siding of Bill Jackson. You're pathetic talking about what I can do to myself. You must have Napoleon syndrome little man. I will no longer acknowledge you on these pages after this post because you are a freak. So long Billy Boy. You're scary too.

Where are the votes broken down by box?

You won't acknowledge me because you know you are a hypocrite in that your chosen candidate bashed Stanford for four years. There is one person I feel sorrier for in Decatur than Mayor Stanford. Becky's husband.

What many folks tend to miss in all the articles published for this election and the photos presented here - is regardless of which candidate you may have supported or voted for - the Amercian process of electing our leaders is well and alive in Decatur, Alabama. Just look in the eyes of the folks that participated in this time honored method of selecting our governmental leadership and you will see the excitement, hard work, and desire to make our city better for all of its citizens. CONGRATULATIONS to Don Kyle on his successful election as our Mayor for the next four years and BEST WISHES to Carl Cole in his law practice and continued community service who offered the citizens of our city a choice. NOW is the time for all of us to work with our city leaders to make Decatur the BEST IN THE STATE, BEST IN THE NATION with top security for our citizens, excellent fire protection, clean and well kept streets and lawns around our homes, support for our local parks and recreation centers, continued growth in our industral and business enterprises for jobs for every individual that wants ot work, promote our schools and the futrure leaders of our nation - all within the constrained budget and resourses we have available. WE CAN DO IT - TOGETHER!
