Longtime Decatur attorney John Key has died, according to officials with EysterKey Attorneys at Law on Moulton Street. He was 72.
EysterKey partner J. Glynn Tubb said Key, who worked as an attorney for EysterKey for 40 years, died from natural causes Wednesday night at the Decatur General campus of Decatur-Morgan Hospital.
Roselawn Funeral Home will handle the arrangements.

John was one of the best, if not the best, defense attorneys in civil law in the state. But above all else he was a gentleman in all respects and the genuine article. Our community will miss this great man.
