14 firefighters for a one car wreck?

if it was you THOR, would you not like to know there was sufficient help there?

Another reason not to street race like fools , the streets aren,t a drag strip could have killed someone else or children on the street also acting like Idiots

2 medics per patient due to nature of injury = 4

2 firefighters to handle burning car = 2

4 firefighters to protect surrounding houses and property from a fully involved car = 4 (its in a neighborhood with debris scattered everywhere) and unknown other damage or patients until you arrive

2 apparatus operators for 2 fire trucks = 2 (someone has to run the truck for the firefighters)

1 command person = 1

That leaves one person to attend to in the incoming helicopter at night, = 1

That totals 14 if everything goes right, so know what you are talking about

This is my cousin and I would appreciate prayers instead of negative comments. He was not street racing. He was trying to avoid hitting another car.

my prayers r going up and i am glad that 14 firefighters showed up i would want everyone that could help me do that if possible.robert u r right people need to stop complaining and be of help to others if possible.

Thor now that James mapped it out for you don't you feel foolish for being so negative?

Thor now that James mapped it out for you don't you feel foolish for being so negative?

why did he "racing through the 4 way stop" thats running a stop sign endangering someone elses life first off then he had to be traveling at a high rate of speed for the car to leave the ground , then he lost control when it hit the ground , sounds like racing or fleeing from a gun fight would be more like it , or chasing someone if they were,nt racing . those are city streets you don,t accelerate to uncontrollable speeds to avoid another car or leave the ground and drive like a fool on city streets there are children everywhere your cousin was breaking multiple laws before and during the accident

TBone, you are truly an idiot.

Correction. TBone, you are an INSENSITIVE idiot.

James..thanks for the breakdown. I didn't know what I was talking about for I wasn't talking, I was asking a question. Even though your answer was a bit of one by a smart A$$ on your last sentence, the rest was informative.

Decatur, yes I would ,and remember a question was asked only.

Oh James, three trucks responded so that makes three apparattus operators...Quote from the article: Williams said the car, which he said is “totally destroyed,” was fully involved when about 14 firefighters from three stations responded.

P.S. (perhaps you need to read the article closer before you do your next breakdown..sorry dude...you opened the door...be nice...it was a question)

Decatur streets were not made for fast and furious movies to be re-created.

You want to race go to the dragstrip.
