Decatur High’s Sally Adams finished first in the season-opening meet Thursday hosted by Austin High at 3M.

With nine schools competing, Adams won the girls division in 22 minutes, 10 seconds.

In the team standings, Bob Jones swept the boys and girls titles.

Decatur placed second in the girls division, while Austin was runner-up in the boys’ portion of the meet.

Adams finished ahead of a trio of Bob Jones runners. Taylor Dahlgren was second in 22:18, followed by Carolyn Bero at 22:42 and Ashlee Stewart at 23:14.

In the boys division, Bob Jones took the top three spots with Asten Shipley finished in 19:18, Jayson Perry in 19:21 and Max Schmidt in 19:25.

Austin’s Matthew Dunn placed fourth in 19:26.
