uhhh....no never buy with taxpayer money for above appraised value. Never.

To pay 45,000.00 over the appraised value is just plain stupid unless you're buying it with other people's money. Is the owner paying taxes on the appraised value of what you're offering him for it? Someone is making a whole lot of money and I think it's got something to do with one of more of the city officials. I don[t know his name but I think his initials are Gary Hammon. Didn't he make a lot of money when he suggested putting in a sewer line where there are no buildings. Oh, I fogot, it's aright next to his property. So did his property increased in appraised value and taxed in the same way>?

I say let the current owner keep it, and unload the property to a PRIVATE investment group. This project is going to turn into a money pit, I guarantee you. If the City doesn't like the way the property "looks," perhaps it's time to do some nuisance abatement. I can't help but wonder who the property owner is BUDDIES with.

So what will happen now that we have paid for the building if the council decides not to tackle the restoration? Gary has to "turn his brain down" when talking with others occasionally (I have heard him say it. It is a Mensa thing). Gary, I think you made an error when you led the purchase of the depot. Your heart was in the right place but your brain was turned down to low.

Huh....that would be "too low"!

Well I did may part to vote Gary out of there. Maybe next election everybody will remember his poor judgements. THROW THE BUMS OUT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gary is much smarter than KKKKKKKirby, Charles.

I spent a lat of time in this depot waiting for the train when I was a kid. Hopefully it can be saved.

Don't do it!!!! Waste of money - nothing real in return!
