Decatur city police running blue light ticket special watch out

Leave the hogs alone!!! They were there first!!!!

Actually Paul, the hogs weren't there first. The hogs are not indigenous to this area. They were brought in by settlers in Florida and other areas and have migrated into areas here.

Better make it legal to use centerfire weapons to hunt them anytime of the year and be able to bait them! Just ask some folks that live a couple states West of here. No restrictions there, and the state hires hunters to hunt from helicopters.

Paul.........please get the facts before you open your mouth and reveal all sorts of ignorance. There is no natural hog or pig population in the state of Alabama. The people who read the Decatur Daily absolutely kill me!

Actually Paul they were not. These are non-native species and all our current feral pigs were introduced in the past few decades.

The hogs were not here first and they need to wiped out completely. They demolish property and are VERY dangerous to humans.

are these hogs edible ?

yes the hogs are edible
