No matter what personal issues he has, I am glad he is doing better. He and his family desearve a second chance. I hope he takes full advantage of it.

this guy took drugs, drove and hit another car. he could have killed someone by actions he chose to do. I don't have much sympathy for him. For once I agree with NW resident.

As for his second chances, he's had two or three already. he was allowed to resign instead of being fired for using drugs in the past and asking a teacher to help provide him drugs. Apparently he didn't take that second chance seriously and used drugs again and hit someone with his car.

Cold hearted people.......no he is not a saint....yes he has made major mistakes...yes he could have killed someone by his actions........no I do not agree with the choices he has mad at all..............but wishing him bad luck is no way to be people, especially when we are talking about the possibility of death!

Judging by the comments I read all the time, basic sentence structure is apparently dying a slow death. What is with all the huge spaces and excessive use of periods between sentences and thoughts? Capitalizing the first word of a new sentence has also apparently become taboo. Sorry to send like a jerk, but when you can't use basic grammar rules correctly when you type, how can you expect anybody to take you seriously when you type a comment?

As for Mr. Bowling, he is reaping what he sowed. Yes, he has had several chances but that does not mean he does not deserve anymore. Those of you that are Christian, how many times did Christ say we must forgive somebody? How many times has Christ had to forgive you? You don't have to forget, because we must always be diligent with those that continue to offend us. Redemption is offered to all of us and there is no limit to the chances we have to do that, but even after being redeemed, we still might have to suffer the consequences of our past actions. Mr. Bowling needs to get help and clean himself up while also being held accountable for what he has done.

I may have missed it, but have they determined that Mr. Bowling was, in fact, using drugs when he had this accident? Not being sarcastic, seriously would like to know.

Daryn - Unfortunately, in this day and time, it doesn't matter what really happened - only what people believe to have happened. Even if it were proven that Bowling was in the trunk of the car at the time of the accident, some would continue to blame him and the mistakes of his past for everything.

We continue to pray for Mr. Bowling and his family during this difficult time.

We don't know how this accident happened, but I sincerely wish him the best possible outcome of his long journey to recovery. He was very kind to my child, and went out of his way to help him any chance he got.
