Ok, today at this wreck I noticed several Decatur police cars at this wreck scene. What has happened to the county and state troopers and why was Decatur P.D. at this accident? I know this isn't Decatur jurisdiction. This was across from Libby's on top of the hill.
Decatur PJ probably overlaps Priceville at the site, does seem like a stretch.
That's not part of decaturs pj just that each dept can only release so many officers to help with traffic control. When they need more help, officers from an adjacent city are sent to help.
Seems this should be where the county steps in, or state patrol.
