GREAT IDEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stupid idea. Cops become cops because they choose to. Teachers become teachers because they choose to. If any of you think that these teachers will have the brass tacks to pull the trigger on a student when the time comes you are dreaming. Especially if they have to pull the trigger on a current student or one that they used to teach. The answer is the the board of education to come off of the money and beef up the school resource officers. Let's see, who do I want my kids around, a trained veteran police officer that has been to SRO school and has had thousands of hours in using a firearm or do I want them around a current or retired teacher that probably could barely qualify to hit a target and with only 5-10 hours of training. You think its a great idea?????? Bet you change your mind when an inncocent kid is struck by a stray bullet fired by a poorly trained teacher that once they got the guts to pull the trigger they missed.
