Griffin, McConnell lead West Limestone past Elkmont

SALEM — James Griffin poured in 12 points and Caleb McConnell added 11, leading West Limestone High past rival Elkmont 76-18 Thursday night.

West Limestone (3-3) raced out to a commanding lead, carrying a 42-7 cushion into halftime.

Nathaniel Adams finished with 10 points for West Limestone, while Austin Tuten and Jacob Martin each scored nine. Corey Appleton scored four points and had six assists for the Wildcats.

Matthew Barnes led Elkmont with five points.

West Limestone 65, Elkmont 22:
Shelby Clay led West Limestone with 12 points as the Wildcats beat rival Elkmont.

Lauren Dean added 11 points for West Limestone, which travels to Wilson tonight.
