poor judgement on their part that could have had a really unfavorable ending. Think kids/adults.
remember the last kid they tried scare in a closet recently, and one of them got shot in the head. guns are not things kids should use to "scare people with". it has severe consequences that can occur.
So, having two different stories in the last month (one local and one national) that resulted in tragedy because a teenager was trying to scare somebody by making them think a violent crime was about to take place was not a clue for these teenagers?
These kids were certainly stupid to be running around with a BB gun in their hand. Good way to get shot. But I wonder what law was broken for Officer Driggers to confiscate private property. There is no law on the books that allows this confiscation for "safekeeping" either a fake or a real gun, absent an actual crime being committed or investigated, or as a safety measure if the person is deemed mentally unstable.
