Hartselle Nutrition Center schedule

Feb. 13 – Performance at 10:15 a.m. by Glenn Taylor; Devotional at 11 a.m. with Blanton Adair.

Feb. 14 – Celebration of February birthdays with birthday cake.

Feb. 18 – The Hartselle Nutrition Center will be closed in observance of George Washington’s birthday.

Feb. 20 – Devotional at 11 a.m. with Monita Coffey.

Feb. 21 – Monthly council meeting at 10 a.m.

Feb. 27 – Devotional at 11 a.m. with Oneal Parker

Feb. 28 – Lunch at Neel Senior Center. Participants will leave at 9 a.m. from the Hartselle center.

The Hartselle Senior Center, located at 406 Nanceford Road at the Sparkman Civic Center is open from 8 a.m. until noon Mondays through Fridays. Attendees must be at least 60-years-old or attend with a spouse 60 or older. A lunch is served each day, also, meals can be delivered to the homebound. Other than joining each other for lunch, the seniors enjoy a variety of activities such as, weekly singings, playing cards, working puzzles, quilting, socializing, health screenings, reading books from their library, monthly birthday parties and more. A bus service to the center is also available. To register, or find out more information call the senior center at (256) 773-0786.
