So Decatur is leading the pack in families fleeing the city while the council, chamber of commerce and the daily newspaper just whistle in the wind. Gee thanks. Can't wait to get my family out of here too before my home is worthless.

I am glad that Mayor Kyle is back so that we will have someone to tell the Chamber, the Council and the bureaucrats at City Hall what to do to correct this trend. Set them straight Don.

Until you correct the drug and thug problems people will continue to leave and property values will plummet , there are still 3 or 4 drug houses in our neighborhood they have cleaned out some , but the city created this their self when they closed stonegate and several other low income areas and spread this plague all over town, they were at least contained to one area now its everywhere , maybe they too will reap what they have sown

I have 2 houses for sale next to me and I'm terrified of what type of neighbors I will have. It's currently a fairly "older" neighborhood with a lot of retired people and nice and quiet. I hope it stays that way. I left my last neighborhood because the neighborhood children were destroying my property on a regular basis and the parents did nothing to stop it.

So what exactly do you believe the Chamber has or has not done to improve Decatur?
