There is a responsibility , owning high capacity magazines legally and ar-15's legally is not the problem , letting loonies get their hands on them is the problem. the weapons are not at fault . the person holding the weapon is at fault , they have a mental defect or they would not be shooting any human being except in self defense or your defense. Taking legally armed citizens rights and property is not the answer to your "gun" problem , the guns are not the problem. If you take legal weapons from legal owners you will have real problems of skyrocketing crime , assaults , murders , thefts and God only knows what.Yes their is a need for self defense in this and any country or town. their are to many criminals with weapons that they obtain illegally on the street or from even our own government thru stupid moves like walking guns , which the president will not admit he screwed up. He gave guns to the Mexican cartels and they are being used in many towns and countries all over the world , being traced by their serial numbers back to his bad decision to give the drug cartels guns. Taking guns or limiting guns or magazines will fix nothing. you need defense against criminal elements and loonies with illegal guns. So I have my weapons to defend my home and property and my families lives. It does not matter what kind of weapon you legally have , the criminals and persons intent upon massacre and harm will get assault rifles or hand guns with large magazines or anything else they want to do harm with and the bleeding heart gun snatchers would have us stand there and be shot and be killed because we have no way to defend our self - not happening at my house sorry
