we al have accidents and errors happen.

1, it was probably the glare from his sport coat that obstructed his vision. Seriously, a life was lost and 300K was probably the maximum of his insurance coverage. He lost his job but they lost a family member.

"Trousdale said three witnesses who were driving near Dobbs around the time of the wreck said Dobbs’ driving didn’t cause them to be concerned and that he didn’t seem to be speeding or distracted."

“In fact, ladies and gentlemen, they were all traveling along there at approximately the same speed,” he said.

Parham said she was pleased with the outcome.

“But it wasn’t even about that,” she said. “The only thing I wanted was an apology. I still didn’t get an apology or some kind of sympathy for my family. That’s what I really wish he would have done.”

Yeah,right,she didn't want the money !

It is amazing to me how so many facts of such situations in life can be totally overlooked or ignored. Nothing was said of my testimony about how I wanted to check on Ms. Riggs while at the scene and was told by paramedics to stay away from her car. Nothing has been published about how I was advised by attorneys to NOT contact the family in any way. Nothing has been said about how my wife and I were threatened by phone in the days following the incident, both at home and at my work. My wife and I wanted to at least send flowers and attend the funeral of Ms. Riggs, and I was told it would not be a good idea in case a lawsuit was introduced against me; to not have any contact with the victim's family. It hurts to think the family involved believes I didn't care. I continue to grieve for the loss of life of an apparent dear lady, even though I still know I could have done nothing different to prevent the collision. I will continue to pray for Ms. Riggs family. Gary Dobbs.

Of course, in the previous post, I was referencing the Ricks' family. Gary Dobbs

God Bless you Gary Dobbs. You and your wife are wonderful people and regarding your post, I would expect nothing less of you....Sometmes Lawyers do not see the bigger picture!

not enough money for a life!!!!

.

Really Gary? You don't even know her lastname. Pathetic!

My name is Julie Mattox. I am proud to call Gary and Belinda Dobbs my best friends. They have not only grieved the loss of Belinda's only son, had a tornado completely destroy their home and belongings, as well as the loss of Belinda's father less than two months ago. In the midst of all of this tragedy, they have grieved the loss of this woman in the accident as well as her family. I cannot tell you how they have suffered through this ordeal, praying for this family while they were being threatened by them, being told by lawyers how to act and what to say and what not to say. They have the most giving and compassionate spirits of any two people I know. I have been there when the cameras and newspapers weren't there to sensationalize the story and let me tell you, there has been many prayers and tears shed on this family's behalf. It's a shame how some people can be so ignorant and mean to post such ugly things about Gary when I know just what a wonderful, compassionate, & giving person he is. It was an accident, it was God's plan for this to happen, why would people want to try and persecute this man when they don't know his heart. Before you start posting garbage you know nothing about, please know that the Dobbs' have lost more than you can ever imagine while keeping their dignity and christian beliefs top priority, unlike alot of people on this forum have.

at least he still has his life. and life does go on, the family of the victim has had to go on,and they lost the most precious and important thing a life.

My Heart Goes Out To Everybody Involved And All Thier Families And Extended Families, If It Wasn;t For THE GRACE OF GOD, It Could Be Me Or You, Or Any Of Us, PRAYING FOR ALL
