Congratulations Mr. Kyle.
Headlines the Decatur Daily and media across the nation ignore in an effort to help President Obama:
"State Department says there was no protest, video not cause of Benghazi attack!"
"White House intends to make Secretary Clinton scapegoat"
"Congress investigating Obama Administration cover up"
"Gas prices soar ahead of election, gas stations in California closing"
"U.S. embassies in the Middle East remain under siege"
But we thank the Daily for the in depth report on the LSD-crazed teen.
Why do we keep voting in the sane igits that we despised four years ago?
This makes no sense to me!
Decatur is a lost cause; must be time for me and family to move.
Regarding this and today's Daily editorial in particular:
The Daily’s preferred candidate lost last night. So true to form here they go again making nice to the victor lavishing praise while setting the table with an array of pending and potential issues [attracting young professionals, police funding, unemployment, upscale housing, etc.], all things we are confident you will tackle. The Daily poses these things to set up opportunities to pounce at the first circumstance or opportunity and to demean with front page, above the fold headlines. Remember the multiple laudatory headlines on Ana Franklin, including one of several on the front page praise filled articles about her being Morgan’s first Morgan female sheriff? Soon the other shoe came down with the Daily siding against the new sheriff using the object of an early adverse personnel action and fanning it with headlines to drive it into the legal system and to discredit the sheriff. That was just the first, then they began to pummel for months. In other words, the ball is teed up for the Daily to slam the first instance that these or any other issues they choose don’t come to perfect [meaning the Daily’s idea] resolution immediately.
A reminder to the Daily: The Mayor and each council member have an obligation and a continuing responsibility to work together to get work done to advance the city. It is equally incumbent on each council member to work civilly with the Mayor and other members. Based on the history, it seems appropriate to point out that this is something particularly Mr. Jackson needs abide; as derision seemed most often to center around him with the Daily pointing it at Mayor Kyle. Also, we need the Daily to stop uniformly siding with and promoting progressive leftist individuals and positions to stir up controversy and promoting leftist ideological advancement [a.k.a. profitable headline bait]. Good luck Mr. Kyle. We know you have broad shoulders and are willing to take on these responsibilities. We want you to know and understand that most of us monitor what is going on and as you work to bring the diverse elements and needs of our city together, we will be supporting your work and watching; and we will have your back.
Wow. Kenneth. I feel sorry for you. Your guy wins and all you can do is dwell on the paper.
D.U.I.
Kenneth could answer, "I hate being right all the time".
Go ahead "MICHAEL E"....move!
Kyle is a dufus.
Kyle is 500% better than Stanford. If Kyle is a "dufus", I am curious as to what one word describes Stanford.
