Lawrence County’s Buddy Griffin drives past R.A. Hubbard’s John Owens in the regular-season matchup of the two county schools Dec. 14. R.A. Hubbard won 56-50. The teams meet again today in the first round of the Lawrence tournament at the A.W. Todd Coliseum in Moulton. Action begins at 3 p.m. when the Lawrence County High girls take on East Lawrence. The Hatton boys play East Lawrence at 4:30 p.m. The R.A. Hubbard girls play Hatton at 6 p.m. and the R.A. Hubbard boys and Lawrence County play at 7:30 p.m. Admission fee is $5 per person.
