Local United Way donations rise 10%, almost hit $2 million goal

It's sad that something this worthwhile only got 4 measly sentences of recognition.

What is really sad is that the 2012 salary for Brian Gallagher (President/CEO United Way Worldwide) was $813,338

When the top brass at United ways gets this mufh of a salary, I'll keep my money and give it to chariteis that give all the money collected to the needy. A 6 figure salary (twice as much as the President of U.S.0 it ridiculous.

It's sad what the CEO makes off charity.
