Meals on Wheels depends on contributions from the community to operate, and The Decatur Daily has begun its annual February campaign to raise money for the United Way organization.
The program provides one hot meal each weekday for qualifying elderly and disabled homebound residents of Morgan County.
The Decatur Daily accepts donations to Meals on Wheels throughout the year. It publishes the names of those making donations in February unless they request anonymity.
Donors should specify how they wish their names to be listed in the newspaper. Send contributions to Meals on Wheels, c/o The Decatur Daily, P.O. Box 2213, Decatur, AL 35609-2213.
