Ever notice this loser always has a smirk on his face? And well he should. He got away with murder! And burglary, and dope peddling, and being a freeloader. Two to 20 years? WHY! So he can come back AGAIN and pick up where he left off?!? Oh, yeah. The lawyers need the money. Sorry. I forgot!

He only pled guilty because he was scared. Even though the chances of someone having the same birthmark are eleventy billion to one, he's obviously innocent. Just ask Uncle Glenn

20 years for stealing cigarettes? that's kinda harsh.

.

Yeah he ought to do some time. but 20 years is a waste of taxpayer money. I say give him 2 years, fine him, make him pay restitution to Wally World.

OK M; if he gets out of prison in 2 years, and he breaks in to your home, how much time would you like for him the serve???

to my knowledge, this is his second conviction. the first being where he stole jewelry from JC Penny's. He served time on that.

not sure how a 2nd conviction should make him a "Habitual offender" and put him in jail for 20 years for stealing cigarettes. to me that is a waste of tax payer money.

.

Now if he breaks in a third or 4th time after he gets out of jail. then they can look at long term lock ups.

.

You'd figure that after spending 10 years in jail that this kid would not want to go back and would get his head on straight. But I think he'll break the law again.... even if he does 2 years or 10 years.

He is just one of those people that need to be under someone always having someone tell them what to do. Look at while he was out awaiting trial on murder. You didn't hear anything about him that boy was probably in bed by 8 every night. Now he can't stay out of trouble because he doesn't have someone standing around telling him how to live and the worst part about it is somebody has got some money they keep paying the Powell's to represent him. Where does all of that come from?

A total waste of Carbon

2 years of hard labor.

Some people are never going to be rehabilitated to where they will be a productive member of society. I believe he is one of these people. He has no respect for other people's property and hard work, and certainly no respect for another human's life. (I firmly believe he killed Karen Tipton)

I say give the scum the maximum sentence possible and keep him off the streets. We'll all be a little safer.

No time for murer, 20 years for selling cigarettes. Sounds about right.
