Great. He hasn't helped the crime rate here! The criminals still roam the streets while out on bail and parole, the judges still give more effort to protecting criminals than protecting society FROM criminals and the police can't find them because "they wear masks and all dress alike". I'm NOT inpressed.
Congratulations to Scott!
Congratulations to Scott. He has done a very capable job in his time in office. For the complainer who was the first to comment: Scott has barely been in office long enough to actually be prosecuting the cases that he originated. His office inherited all the previous administrations good or bad cases. Next, we've got to realize that we already lead the world in per capita rates of incarceration. Keeping some one in custody is very expensive. The number of people on bail, probation, parole and community corrections is an expression of our lack of interest as tax payers to pay for the "lock 'em up" criminal justice system. Hopefully there is also a sense of wanting to err on the side of not putting another human being in jail unless they have proven themselves unable to live in society.
