Still wondering how Billy Jackson can be liaison to Fire and Rescue and it not be in violation of the code of ethics because of his brothers working there and also Roger Anders be liaison to Decatur Utilities and his son work there? Is this wrong or I am I wrong? Just wondering.
Rebecca, it's called who you know. 99% of all people get their jobs based on "who they know". Rebecca I am guessing you got your job all by yourself, no help? Give it a break. You're like this Decatur Daily, beating a dead horse in this small horse town.
It is kind of ironic that Melanie Maples kind of thinks that the booster club "just putting us off is ok" when it is kind of her job to ensure they don't. Hmmm.
Do as Lawrence County (Moulton) and list it as a supplement and not a gift.
That's right Chris, all by myself! Don't need anyone helping me and I'm not gonna hire someone related to me because it is against company policy. Thank you.
Wow, Rebecca the self made "woman" never needing any help from anyone. Impressive. So Roger Anders did the actual hiring? Did not know he did the hiring at DU. Thanks for the enlightenment. I do apologize.
How does Billy "no Show" Jackson and DU have anything to do with this article. This article sounds like it is about corruption in the Decatur High sports program and the booster club. Rececca, according to the Obama doctrine, it is impossible for you to have gotten where you are all by yourself, so somebody had to help you. Obviously, it wasn't Billy or Roger. It that why you aware so bitter?
Corruption?? Slow it down Decatur. I wouldn't call giving a coach a gift corruption. The books have been there to review, but weren't. I would hardly call this corruption.
The corruption is on the part of the coaches for accepting a gift in excess of the school's policy. Prior to December, DCS issued a memo to teachers prohibiting them from accepting more than $25. Let's see, cash bonus... wonder if they reported it to the IRS? I hope so, it may come back to haunt them.
