To The Daily: Well, the man who, according to Mrs. Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden, was unqualified and did not have the experience to be president was re-elected. And not by Alabama and the South, but by big cities in California, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida and others.
So what has President Barack Obama done in the last four years that justifies his re-election? A $16 trillion national debt. An increase in food stamp spending: $82 billion. Some 80 percent of the farm bill is food stamp spending. Only $40 billion in the federal highway bill.
Nov. 14 was his first news conference in months, and he evaded most of the questions. There have been 1,790 deaths in Afghanistan and Iraq. No immigration bill, which was promised during his first year. Attorney General Eric Holder did not have time to read the Arizona immigration bill but condemned it.
Mr. Obama has never had a budget. How about Solyndra and the other money pits? He has made apology tours, but no visit to Israel. There are 50 million Americans in poverty. What about Gitmo and 2 percent less money going into Social Security for two years? Or a plug-in fleet for White House vehicles, with half the fleet to be hybrid or electric.
Dozens of broken promises.
