Rev. Greer is going to survive. Now, call the Gardendale Police Department and have them release the daughter's statement. Apart from Rev. Greer, she is the only one who knows what was being discussed prior to the shooting. Please do not provide another article describing the improvement of one who entered the hospital in stable condition and has shown improvement each day since. Let us get that out of the way now. Pastor Greer's condition will continue to improve overnight and he may be transferred to jail tomorrow or Thursday. Now the Decatur Daily can do the real reporting, or, at least, print the Gardendale Police Department's response.

Whether retained or appointed, Rev. Greer's lawyer will allude to the massive amount of drugs Rev. Greer has consumed over the past year and a possible insanity defense, but, will shed no real light on the incident. The story lies with the daughter or the Gardendale Police Department. Leave the daughter alone and have the police department release her statement as part of their finding. Their investigation should now be complete, or, close enough to inform the public of the motive.

Other useful future news: The sun will rise tomorrow. Temperatures will be cooler than in August. Patients hospitalized in stable condition will improve.
