He wasn't trying to kill himself. Afterall, he had a gun. Could have ended it all right then and there. His stabbing himself was totally for another reason. Must have chickened out of killing himself.

I cannot even imagine what Suzanna Greer is and will go through over the next few years . . . and the rest of her life. I feel so badly for her. I realize we should all pray for and support those involed/impacted by this sensless act but this poor young lady needs about 99.99% of those prayers right now.

Uh his daughter took the gun from him after he shot them both and ran next door.so he didn't have a gun and could only find the knife. I bet the original plan was to kill both and then kill himself but his daughter stop that deal.

Clairvoyant people amaze me. Deja how are you on stock market predictions since you can read the mind of people 80 miles away?

Was the bathroom door locked - did the police have to knock it in? I don't believe he meant to stab himself to death - why didn't he just stay in the kitchen. I think he was looking for sympathy, after his plan failed.
