Well, they fail at investigating burglary cases. I had a break in, and pretty much had proof as to who did it, but they didn't even bother to question the person. I called weekly for several months and spoke to the investigator but got nothing but a runaround.
Read the previous article. Apparently they have forgotten their job is to 'protect and serve' US, not 'clear' cases. 'Clearing' a case is POINTLESS if the perpetrator is back out on the street in a few weeks. All 'clearing cases' does is pay legal professionals!! The Police Chief and his subordinants seem to have forgotten their FIRST responsibility: to protect and serve CITIZENS by penning up and disposing of CRIMINALS. They are only succeeding if the city is becoming SAFER not by clearing 'cases'. FIRE the Chief and get one that knows what his job is!!! Fire the DA if he doesn't help the police in their FIRST responsibility
