Mary, you could have saved some ink and just said " Republicans are racist. The end." It's articles like these by the liberal media as to why the democratic party in Alabama has died.

And Paler would have us believe the democrats do not push straight party ticket voting? She had more money that Howell to run a campaign. She simply got beat.

I'm a proud Hillary Clinton Alabama Liberal Democrat!! Democratic policies help 99% of Alabamians but, sadly, their racist, stubbornness lead them to vote against their own economic interests and for Republicans.

If you folks thay think either party really cares about you are wrong. open your eyes

Judge Paler should have done as Judge Haddock did and switched parties,or as Judge Thompson did by saying," you can still vote a straight republican ticket and vote for me."

@ John,How does spending $6 trillion in four years for outrageous programs and when Barry leaves office the deficit will be $20 trillion help the taxocrats win back Alabama and help Alabamians .

As British PM Margaret Thatcher stated," The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money."

`

I never heard Paler complain of 90%--95% in the the black boxes here because of straight ticket votes. Thompson got elected in '94 just like Paler and ran this time as a Democrat, but he won. The difference is that she is an ass and a poor judge, and a democrat. That's why she lost--in that order.

Paler's opponent was a connected insider as opposed to Thompson's opponent who was a complete joke.
