Pryor Field Historical Marker Unveiled

A historical marker was unveiled at Pryor Field Thursday, October 25, 2012. The field began life in 1941 as a training facility for the US Army Air Corp. The two hangars and beacon in the designation have been in continuous service since the field opened in '41. Larry Hall, who headed the project to get the historical marker placed at Pryor, unveils the plaque. The hangar building in the background is one of the three designated historical structures.
