Romney's false claims

Mitt Romney has plenty of room for rational criticism of President Barack Obama's actions. When the GOP candidate pushes demonstrably false claims, he hurts his own credibility and insults voters.

Romney recently claimed that Obama is eliminating work requirements in the welfare system. In fact, Obama granted a waiver — requested by Republican governors — to relieve states of cumbersome federal requirements. The states can only obtain the waiver by showing their welfare programs will increase job placements.

Romney also claimed a lawsuit filed by the Obama campaign is trying to prevent members of the military from voting in Ohio. In fact, the lawsuit asks the court to block a GOP effort to prevent all Ohioans from voting early.

Voters value honesty. Romney's false claims are an insult to voters that undermine his valid criticisms of Obama.

Appears the objection may have some truth. Now , DD, speak to the ad being run by Obama's people on the Bain closure that killed a woman.

"In fact, the lawsuit asks the court to block a GOP effort to prevent all Ohioans from voting early"

FALSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ohioans can vote early thru the Friday before the election.Military would have 3 extra days to vote early.

The work requirements for welfare shouldn't be waived by the Obama Administration regardless of the political affiliations of the Governors. The requirement is a great idea. In fact, the Obama Administration should shoot down the waiver requests to show that they're willing keeping Bill Clinton's work requirement in place. However, by granting the waivers, it shows he's willing to undo it, even if indirectly. The term "cumbersome federal requirements" is redundant, by the way. What federal requirements AREN'T cumbersome. I hold up the tax code as a prime example.

Does anybody know of any truthful cliams that Obama has made?

Yes, James. It is when he says, "This is Barak Obama and I approve this message". That is a truthful claim.

The daily is definitely bias..... the Dems have been lying all week and the daily says nothing except to explain the crap that Obama and the Demos are spouting....

Don't know don't care, how's that? I would vote for a ham sandwich before I would Barack Obama.

"The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money." - Alexis de Tocqueville

When is the DD going to call obammy out on the ad accusing Mitt of killing the man's wife? The woman had insurance at her work, the man could have taken a buy out and used it to BUY insurance! I can not wait until this election is over with and the obammy's leave OUR white house! That is if he lets us have an election, I believe he will declare martial law and he will become our dictator!!

Obama's is desperate calling Romney names and afraid to talk about Obama's failed, closed and corrupt administration......

@R, Been listening to too much talk radio, huh!!!
