If Alabama re-elects this idiot, then it will prove that Alabama is incapable of learning from their mistakes and deserves at least some of the criticism from other areas of the country. Moore uses religion as a tool for his own political, personal and financial goals. I can only hope that the people of Alabama can see through Moore's self-interested agenda and make sure he is never a political or judicial influence in this state again. There is nothing more abhorent than a self-righteous person in a position of ultimate authority.

tbone - A true Christian shouldn't have to tell you that they are Christian - it should be evident by their actions. Roy Moore uses Chrisianity and the word of God to benefit his worldly life and has convinced people like you that he is a good Christian man. If it had been to his benefit to put a golden ox in the State House, he would have done that too. You should be very wary of anyone who feels the need to constantly proclaim what a good Christian they are - particularly when their actions prove otherwise.

Roy Moore is a dangerous fanatic and I agree with "S" tbone. Judge a Christian by what they do, not what they say. But, I can guarantee you one thing, Alabama will likely elect him as Chief Justice. And tbone, where does all that hate and persecution come from; especially a proposed Christian?
