Hayden Stephens rushed 165 yards and four touchdowns on nine carries, Greg Maclin scored three touchdowns and the Rattlers’ defense held Colbert Heights to minus-19 rushing yards in earning the region win.

Stephens scored on runs of 31, 27 and 24 yards in the first half, while Maclin added touchdown receptions of 16 and 48 yards from Jonathan Fletcher before returning a Cole Claunch interception 25 yards for another score.

Fred Rich (3 yards) and Ronald Taylor (9 yards) each added touchdown runs in the second quarter as Tanner opened its halftime lead to 56-0.

Stephens added a 38-yard touchdown run early in the third quarter before Tiquaveious Mayberry rounded out the Tanner scoring with a 25-yard run with six minutes left in the third quarter. Alan Rios coverted 9 of 10 extra point attempts for Tanner.
