this is like an Obama poll......

Then why have a Poll like this if it is not an endorsement Mark? Mrs. Marsh, why did you not ask the question, why did you do the poll? Come on Sheryl your better than that.

Sure the Incubments are going to get higher ratings.

The DD should put a obama,Thompson and Paler bumper sticker on their forehead ! I question the validity of a poll by a group of ambulance chasers.Isn't it odd this makes print the day of the election ! How ironic.

OK. The poll says the incumbant is rated the "most" highly qualified by the lawyers. They are most likely the ones who have used his court to make themselves lots of money at tax-payers' expense. I'm going to vote for Paler simply because, if we ever hope to get our justice system back to being a' justice' system and not a' money' system, we need to prevent incumbants from being in office long enough to set up a political machine that guarentees their re-election. You prevent graft and corruption by constantly renewing the office.

the poll says "lets keep the good ole boys in office. you know.. the ones we trail lawyers hang out with at the Country Club and slap each other on the back".

Hey First, Paler is the incumbent and has been there 18 years. 18 years too long.

Hey Morgan County...she needs to be there 18 more years!!!

Yeah, another 18 years and she and Thompson can make a serious dent in the prison overcrowding problem. If you don't put 'em in, it ain't going to be full.

18 years............you become complacent. Ms. Paler may be a nice person, but it's time for a change in Morgan County.

I am sure Paler and Thompson are nice people but all I heard at the forum was how they are in such a mess because of budgetary cut-backs or legislative inaction. What I heard from Brown and Howell was how they intend to do whatever is necessary to make the court system more efficient even if that means putting in some time in the clerks office. I think it is time we get some people in office who have the enthusiasm and work ethic to get the job done.
