Standford & Hammonds both sounded so political, corrupt, & dumb.

I don't think young people will leave Decatur, there's too many houses to be burgalized for their goodies. Its'a treasure hunt for them.

If one carefully reads the articles about the manager/council referendum, the entire legal department needs to be restaffed.

I thin the AG and DOJ need to intervene over the citizen vote to go to a City Manager. The City Council simply ignored the vote and did whatever they wanted.

They're all on a power trip!

Jerry, I don't know about corrupt, but as the old song said, two out of three ain't bad.

I've always loved that song Morgan.

City of Decatur stinks for adult since there is no shopping , no good place to eat or no good place to hang out. Decatur is dying while all other cities ( Priceville, Hartselle, Athens,Madison are growing under the growth shadow of Huntsville. Reason is simple, City of Decatur official Specially Zoning department & Building Department who are discouraging builders to build new single family homes. Take a look at no. of new houses build in last 10 years. Have you seen Road conditions of Beltline road, no. of closed down or rundown shops on US hwy 31 south, Why any newcomer will come to live in Decatur When they can live in other cities.

I'm wondering how Anders' son can work at Decatur Utilities and Anders be liason on the council to Decatur Utilties, and also, Billy Jackson is liason to fire and rescue when his brothers work at the fire department. It may not be wrong but this just doesn't seem right! Am I the only one who feels this way?
