Letter to the Editor
Where's the ‘fair and balanced?'

To The Daily: It has to be coming. I can see it now in The Decatur Daily: Mitt Romney's dog passes gas so there must be animal abuse. Horror stories of dogs starting and pictures of sad-looking pups will make headlines.

The re-elect Obama campaign by the newspaper is a bit much and is embarrassing to its readers. Why not offer a "fair and balanced" approach to your reporting? The Daily and its readers would be better served for it.

Mr. Lewey, you answered your question three times in your letter. The Daily, the Decatur Daily, the Daily. This has been and will continue to be a member of the liberal mass media. Try AL.com if you want a more balanced news medium.

Actually the daily is doing nothing different than fox does. Both are business's and can do what ever they want. It belongs to them. Just like if you owned the paper I'm sure you would do as you wish.

It seems fair to me... You idiot Republicans think that anyone who even says anything remotely nice/good about Obama is being biased. We had to put up with Bush's crap for 8 years, you all can put up with Obama's. (Even though you will be better off economically after Obama's tenure, you'll still bitch about him)

why do Republicans talk issues and Democrats call names? makes me wonder

John,

The point is while I voted for Bush I agree about putting up with his crap, why should we accept crap in the highest position in our nation? Bush was crap and obama was a larger load of it. Remember, I will cut the deficit in half in my first three year, he increased it by six trillion, If I cannot fix this in three year I will be a one term president, nothing is fixed I could go on and on. It is time for a new hope and change. We need a good solid president and I do not care if it is a Democrat or Republican. Just no more idiots and no more liars like Obama.

John, you are the stereotypical liberal goon...

They're both lying, corrupt politicians. We have no real choice this time. We haven't had a real choice for several presidents. What do we do? Hang on and pray. It'll be a rough ride either way it goes.
