With the election two months away, mayoral candidates Don Stanford and Don Kyle are squaring off on city street corners, grassy medians and even metal traffic signal boxes. Campaign signs for both … More »

It's interesting that daily shows the Kyle sign implying it is illegal!

The campaign has permission for that site.

Why is a legal Kyle sign listed under an illegal sign article?

Ever noticed Stanfor signs in Vacant lots? Did he get the owners permission?

Ander's signs are too close to the road on Country Club.

Good and lets get rid of all them Yard Sale signs that people leave up on poles until the wind blows them into my yard!

Stanford is Mayor and knows better, but he is really, reall dumb and doesn't know better. Someone PLEASE help the lower double-digit IQ boy.

very surprised Tiffy-Girl caught on to this... a glimmer of hope??

Amazing comments from former Mayor Kyle. Blaming his associates putting signs on the right-of-ways??

Kyle and an associate put up signs on the right-of-way on Central Parkway and 8th Street. I know so. Saw him personally driving in the stakes to the sign. A typical politician blaming other folks for their misdeeds. One of the reasons why he is the former mayor. The former Mayor Kyle knows the sign ordnance well and should abide by the ordinance. Drive down streets in S. W. Decatur and see the Kyle signs on the drainage ditch right-of-ways.

Hopefully, someone from the City will be assigned to pull up these eyesore signs placed in illegal places.

Lets hope the City of Decatur puts some teeth into the right-of-way sign ordinance to stop this practice in the future.

Kyle had his chance - blew it. Stanford had his chance - well, he had no chance from the beginning but to verify . . . he blew it too. My vote is for Carl Cole. I do not know him nor have I met him but he is young and seems intelligent. He has also promised he is going to push getting a City Manager like the voters wanted which would cut his newly elected salary in half if not more. He may or may not be the guy to put in office but given the 3 . . . 2 have already failed. Let's give the new kid a shot.

Kyle has signs all over utility boxes all over Decatur. No one wants his signs in their yard so he puts them in those type places.
